TOTAL WAR: Iran Retaliates Against US Bases Across the Middle East
Following joint US-Israeli "Operation Epic Fury," Iran has launched massive missile salvos targeting American installations in Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, and Iraq.
February 28, 2026 — The Middle East has ignited into a full-scale regional conflict. Within hours of the US-Israeli joint strikes on Tehran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) initiated "Operation Fateh Khyber," a retaliatory barrage of hundreds of ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones directed at every major US military node in the Gulf.
In Bahrain, local sources and the National Communication Centre have confirmed that the #US5thFleet service center in Juffair was the target of direct missile fire. Witnesses reported multiple loud explosions and smoke rising from the naval facility. Simultaneously, in Qatar, the massive #AlUdeid Air Base activated its Patriot defense systems to intercept incoming threats as sirens blared across Doha.

The #UnitedArabEmirates has been thrust into the line of fire, with reports of a "loud bang" over Abu Dhabi and the immediate closure of all civilian airspace. In Iraq, strikes have hit facilities housing pro-Iran groups and areas near US installations, while Oman and Kuwait have suspended all aviation activities due to "imminent regional security threats."
President Donald Trump, in a video statement from the White House, confirmed that the US is in the midst of "major combat operations" to eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat once and for all. He warned that "bombs will be dropping everywhere" and urged the Iranian people to reclaim their government. Meanwhile, Tehran's Foreign Ministry vowed to make the "aggressors regret their actions" with a response that will be "crushing and permanent."

A Global Blackout and Crisis
Cyberattacks have reportedly crippled Iranian internet connectivity, dropping it to 4% of normal levels, while all of Israel remains under a "Red Alert" with its population in underground shelters. The global economy is bracing for a shock as #OilPrice volatility reaches unprecedented levels and major carriers like Air India, Lufthansa, and Air France cancel all flights to West Asia.
